Over the past decade, neighbors have consistently supported these key goals:
Rifle Range Creek corridor—daylight the creek and restore native vegetation
Club Knoll—preserve as a neighborhood recreational center enclosing a library, community conference room, and senior center
Natural Open Space—retain or restore native ecosystems in the upland area, preserve northeast knoll, ridge and oak woodlands, and extend perimeter greenbelt along the southern boundary of the base
Active Recreation Areas—maintain existing base facilities
Reasonable Density —maintain numbers consistent with existing Environmental Impact Report
Monitor Mitigations — ensure that environmental regulations are adhered to during demolition and construction to protect neighbors from air, water and toxics pollution as well as excessive noise
